Always Fun to Drive: the 2021 MAZDA3 Hatchback

Engine Choices 

When you contact our Wilson, NC Mazda dealership, we’ll tell you the 2021 Mazda3 Hatchback is eligible for two engines. The hatchback’s base engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder unit that produces 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated with a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. 

The top trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts our 227 horsepower and either 310 or 320 lb-ft of torque depending on whether you fill up with regular or premium fuel. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard with this engine, but a six-speed manual is offered as an option. The turbocharged engine is only available with all-wheel drive.
